is it ok to assume that the original owner of the body is dead? as in, their soul or whatever is gone for good

yes, that did help, thank you very much. since every fiction is different, it's nice to know (imo) how this specific universe works.
i kinda read the whole thing in one sitting, but this doubt kept me distracted for a while :Þ so far i can't find myself disliking these demons because we didn't know the kids. for all we know they could be the next hittler(s).
so anyway i really like the bathroom. it looks like cel shading, even if it isn't. but i just love that effect!
i'm really liking this comic. i think i came from twc? not entirely sure but whatever, it's a random click that felt rewarding.
kinda hoping this is readable, since i'm used to reading, not writing, in english lol. like that foreign character that understands everything, but has trobule speaking.
there is no tl;dr, only shame and regret. it's like i'm awkwardly fighting a losing battle against the "post comment" button

Hey no worries, I understood every word.

Happy to answer! It will be explained/demonstrated in the comic soon so hopefully the confusion on that will be cleared up I just gotta get there. Im really glad you ended up taking the time to read so thank you! :)
